Challenges abound with droughts, fires, labor shortages, rising input costs, and shipping delays. There are always ups and downs in agriculture no matter what part of the chain you are in or where you live and work. There is next year to look forward to for those who have met the challenges.
As 2021 comes to a close, there are many bright spots in United States agriculture. Yields for many grain producers were better than expected while grain prices are much stronger than the past few years. There is hope for processing and shipping bottlenecks to be righted.

the country should be thankful for the farmers, ranchers, and all those
involved in the processing and delivering the food we so enjoy each and every
day. American agriculture is something we can be proud of and thankful for. Note: There will be no Land Market News next week. Senior Vice President - Real Estate Operations |
